Gods of the Twilight

Gods of the Twilight is a multi-season episodic visual novel that puts you in the shoes of two reincarnated gods facing a pending apocalypse.  Decide who to trust and how to handle supernatural and human groups that each have their own agendas, while ancient truths about you and your companions start to resurface.

This is a world of tech where magic has mostly been forgotten, but with Ragnarök approaching, strange events are taking shape... especially in the lives of Althea and Farkas, a young woman and man living on the city-ship of New Reykjavík. You control both of them as they face mysterious assassins, their own emerging abilities, and hints of the roles they may choose to play in world-shaking events to come. They can become friends, rivals, or even lovers with a variety of companions—including each other—as they navigate a web of potential allies and enemies... including gods, monsters, governments, corporations, and criminals. 

Intended for audiences 17+ due to language, violence, and sexual themes.

Volutian Design is an indie studio founded in February 2020, working on our debut game.  As friends who've played and GMed tabletop and MMO roleplaying plots together since 2014, we hope to share our storytelling more broadly in the form of interactive fiction. Just as we would if we were running a tabletop session with you in person, we hope to bring you plenty of feels, laughs, and meaningful moments in stories that are personal to you and your choices.
